Safe Kids Festival was celebrated on 16th November, 2011 at Narayanguru High School, Chembur, Mumbai. The road out side the school became alive not only with the usual traffic but moreover with a human chain of 100 students from Std.IX standing on either side of the road holding placards and banners with road safety messages. Foresighting the road safety week celebrations in January by Mumbai Traffic Police and commemorating the Decade of Action on Road Safety declared by the United Nations; this event was organised jointly by the school, Brihan Mumbai Mahapalika Shikshak Sabha and Safe Kids Foundation.  Drawing, elocution, essay  competitions on theme of road safety were organized amongst the students.
