In India, Mahendra Mehta and the Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust are credited for helping millions of children through an assortment of educational, medical, developmental, and other initiatives. Specifically, the children of India have benefited from: corrective polio surgery, cleft lip surgery, pre and post natal facilities, education programs, youth small business training programs, vocational and job skill programs, investment programs for youth, food for education programs, free book distributions, and help to street children. Two decades ago Mr. Mehta started the Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust. Since then Mr. Mehta has been an international force to help children worldwide. He has helped tens of thousands of children in India, Kenya, Afghanistan, Burundi, Honduras, Dominican Republic and Sri Lanka |

Dr. Martin R. Eichelberger, M.D. – Founder and Director, Safe Kids Worldwide is a professor of Surgery and of Pediatrics at The George Washington University School of Medicine. He graduated from Princeton University and Hahnemann University Medical School and completed his surgical educations at the Case Western Reserve University Hospital in Cleveland and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He holds visiting professorships in Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia as well as United States. As a pediatric surgeon and director of Emergency Trauma and Burn Services at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., Dr. Eichelberger sees more of children's pain and distress than most people ever will. |
