Safe Kids Foundation along with BMSS organized a day long “Safe Kids Festival” at Narayanguru High School, Chembur, West, Mumbai.The road out side the scool became alive with not only usual traffic but moreover with a human chain of 100 students from Std.IX standing on either side of the road holding placards and banners with road safety messages. Foresighting the road safety week celebrations in January by Mumbai Traffic police and comemorating Decade of Road Safety by United Nations and WHO this event was organised jointly by the school, Bruhan Mumbai Mahapalika Shikshak Sabha and Safe Kids Foundation. Various competitions for Road Safety awareness were organized among all standards students and were supervised by the Safe Kids Staff and FedEx volunteers. A display of photovoice exhibition-a photojournalism exercise by children, attracted children and parent visitors.
