Public Awareness Campaign on Road Safety The Mumbai Police (Traffic) organized a Public Awareness Campaign on road safety from August 12, 2010 to August 19, 2010. College students were posted at 31 important junctions holding banners and placards with road safety messages. Some of these important junctions were Colaba, near Mantralaya, Fort, Churchgate, , Chowpatty , Tardeo, Worli, Byculla, Mahim, Bhoiwada, Matunga, Chembur, Vikroli, Vakola, D. N. Nagar, Kandivali, Borivli and Trombay. These are busy junctions which are used by thousands of vehicles daily.
