

On 18th November, 2007 in collaboration with Mumbai Traffic Police, programs were organized in 14 centres and about 1400 cadets attended the programs.
On 19th, 20th & 21st November, 2007 practical training of cadets was held at important traffic junctions.
On 22nd November, 2007 Cadets performed street plays at 10 different areas in the city.
Rally
On 23 November, 2007 about 750 NCC Cadets participated in a rally. The cadets walked from Churchgate to Chowpatty carrying placards with road safety messages. The rally culminated with the cadets taking an oath to be safe road users.
Safe Kids Foundation displayed banners, posters and placards with road safety messages. Pedestrian safety brochures were distributed to all the participants
Safe Kids Foundation participated in the "Road Safety Week" celebrated from 2nd-8th January, 2008 by Road Safety Patrol, Traffic Police, Mumbai.
Safe Kids Foundation organized two competitions for children
Safe Kids Foundation also participated in the Road Safety Patrol rally by displaying banners with road safety messages. "Drive to care! Not to dare!" was the theme for 2008. Road Safety Patrol cadets participated in the rally.
Poster prepared by Safe Kids Foundation were displayed in various schools, police stations, and other prominent places.
Launch of Walk This Way Program
In India, Walk This Way program was launched on 3rd October, 2007 on International Walk to School Day.
The Honorable Mayor Dr(Mrs.)Shubha Raul of Mumbai expressed her solidarity and support for the 'Walk This Way program and commended Safe Kids Foundation - India for championing pedestrian safety awareness among children.
